Subiaco (Italy). On 24 May 2021, the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians, the renovated website of San Biagio of Subiaco (Rome) House of Prayer of St. John Bosco Province (IRO) was inaugurated.
The new graphic design of the Website is meant to give impetus to the presence on the network of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of San Biagio House of Prayer, updating the languages and images and maintaining the identity and mission of the work unaltered: to be a place of prayer and welcome according to the spirituality of St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello and St. John Bosco.
The new graphic introduces the discovery of a mountain corner, a place made of trees, air, and light, shaped by prayer and the contemplation of creation, in which the FMA of the Community live the Salesian charism accompanying the human and faith journey of the people who every year arrive in San Biagio in search of God.
San Biagio is a privileged place to deepen the Word of God, but also to learn or practice a form of art or question oneself on the meaning of a creative work. For this, various activities are proposed based on some fundamental ingredients: meditation on the Holy Scriptures, listening to oneself and to others, contemplation of creation, collective industriousness.
The welcome page talks about “a place for everyone”, where various activities are offered for young people, adults, couples and families, consecrated persons.
The Website and social media are ‘an outstretched hand’ to those who wish to have an authentic life experience, in search of themselves and of the relationship with the Absolute.
“San Biagio remains a place that must be lived personally, to rediscover the meaning of contemplation, silence, and community life. It digitally allows you to reach many distant or unknown hearts in search of a Word of life, because at San Biagio there is always #aWord foreveryone”.
