Rome (Italy). On the occasion of 1 November 2022, the Solemnity of All Saints, the Charismatic Families propose a prayer with this motivation:

“The Charismatic Family is like a stained-glass window, which was formed by collecting the various elements of different shapes and colors. Each piece has full value in itself and by giving all its splendor, it makes the whole acquire a value of excellence, reflecting the beauty of the Church in its unity.

In this spirit of communion and reciprocity, on 1 November, the day on which we celebrate the feast of All Saints, we join in prayer to entrust our Charismatic Families to God the Father. Our Founders and Foundresses celebrate in Paradise, the place of perfect communion. May the Lord bless us with His Wisdom so that every Charism may be a light of hope for the Church and for the world”.

A Charismatic Family is made up of institutes, people of different states of life – lay people, priests, men and women religious, seculars – who recognize themselves as belonging to the same Charism as the Founder or Foundress and by it are united with each other in fraternity in Christ.  Since 2014, from Pope Francis’ solicitation to give charisms a universal breath as a gift of the Spirit, in May and November of each year, a growing number of charismatic families gather in Rome from all over the world to dialogue, hence the name of “Charismatic Families in Dialogue” given to the movement.

Through the various initiatives, in dialogue and in the authentic exchange of experiences, the Charismatic Families seek to live the charism together, to discover it in a richer way in the reciprocity of fraternal relationships, in collaboration between different vocations, in synodality with the whole Church.
