Rome (Italy). On 26 April 2025 in Tam Ha, Vietnam, the World Feast of Gratitude is celebrated, animated by Mary Help of Christians Province (VTN). Program of the Feast
“Light the Gospel of hope” is the theme of the Feast, which this year takes place in the atmosphere of the Jubilee Year, at the beginning of the Triennium in preparation for the 150th Anniversary of the first FMA missionary departure, illuminated by the Word of God: “Christ our hope” (1 Tim 1:1).
“The celebration of this feast will be, once again, a sign of love and fidelity and will give us the opportunity to express a ‘choral thank you’ to the Mother, who with generous dedication and wisdom, guides the Institute in the concreteness of daily giving”, explains the Vicar General, Sister María del Rosario García Ribas, in her Letter. “Grateful for the inestimable gift that her animation represents for each of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and for the educating communities of the world, let us live this time of preparation with sentiments of gratitude.”

GESÙ chiama e accompagna nella nobile missione. È bello che come ha detto “Gesù che non sappia la tua mano destra quello che fa la sinistra “. La Famiglia Salesiana è esempio di attenzione alla gioventù di ogni ceto sociale.
Credo che sia importante ricordare che il Vietnam è un paese nobile, con una profonda cultura, però che ha vissuto situazioni critiche di decenni di guerre e persecuzioni. Si trovano ancora molte famiglie con difficoltà. L’importante è l’inculturazione. Abbiamo tanti esempi come Papa Francesco, il Cardinale Van Thuan, i missionari francesi, laici, ecc. Auguri di cuore!
