Rome (Italy). On 10 May 2025, the second phase of the Contest for the creation of an unpublished song to Mary opens, that will participate in the 2nd edition of the Marian Festival “The World Sings to Mary”, the initiative from the Communication Sector of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians born with the desire to gather the voices of the Salesian world in a song of praise to the Mother of all humanity.
There are 31 registrations already received from several countries on all continents. “This means that love for Mary is great and truly embraces the whole world!” comments Sister Ausilia De Siena, General Councilor for Communication, thanking with a Letter, for the numerous registrations.
No later than 10 May, the Provinces already registered for the Contest must send their music to the email address festivalfma@gmail.com with the subject: “Il mondo canta a Maria 2”.
After that, starting from the 10th of May, the Province Coordinator for Communication will be able to publish the promo video of the song on the Provincial Facebook profile with a short caption. The post should contain the tag to the Facebook Page of the Institute: @Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice – Salesiane di Don Bosco and the hashtag #ilmondocantaaMaria2025.
Among the songs from all over the world, the jury will select 9 winning songs, while the promo video that by 25 May will have received the largest number of likes, will allow the song to participate in the festival which will take place on 30 May, regardless of the jury’s vote, and receive a certificate of merit.
