Castel Gandolfo (Italy). On 13 July 2025, on the monthly commemoration of Saint Maria Domenica Mazzarello, the Superior General of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Mother Chiara Cazzuola, inaugurated with the 1st “click” the official website in preparation for the Canonization of Sister Maria Troncatti, FMA, which will be celebrated on 19 October 2025, coinciding with World Mission Day.
The website www.mariatroncatti.org – in Italian and Spanish – was created by the Communication Sector of the Institute, with the aim of bringing together the entire Institute, the Salesian Family, and all those who would like to know and deepen knowledge around this fearless missionary among the peoples of the Amazon, a mother with a welcoming heart and tireless artisan of reconciliation and peace.
“Mother, Missionary, Artisan of Peace and Reconciliation” is in fact the motto chosen for this great event, placed in view on the home page on a slideshow with some vintage photos and that, Scrolling the page, is deepened in its various parts through the biographical notes of the future Saint.
Easy to navigate and versatile on different devices, the site offers a small repertoire of historical photographs, images, songs, videos, materials, and publications that can be used for the animation of communities and groups.
You can also download the official Logo in different languages and versions, as well as the official prayer with ecclesiastical approval, always in the languages.
The pages of the site will be further enriched by materials, contributions, and news about events that are being “set in motion” for this important event of the Church, the Institute, and the Salesian Family that is preparing to live with great joy and anticipation.
“This is for all of us a time of special grace, a call to renew ourselves as an Institute in order to continue, with courage and joy, the path of holiness that today God asks us to follow” (Mother Chiara Cazzuola, Cir. 1046).
