Rome (Italy). On 30 January 2022, in the Triduum in preparation for the Solemnity of St John Bosco, the 1st meeting took place for the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians who carry out the mission of accompaniment and animation of three of the 32 Groups of the Salesian Family: FMA Past Pupils, Salesian Cooperators, and the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA).

The meeting took place online, at two different times, for the Asian continent and Oceania and for America, Europe, and Africa in order to encourage the participation of all.

Sr. Leslie Sándigo, Councilor for the FMA Institute Salesian Family Sector, underlined in her greeting the fundamental aspects of the mission of the Delegate: “fostering ecclesial communion, offering the feminine and Marian charismatic contribution, and accompanying the apostolic enthusiasm of the members of Associations.” She also invited them to take care of the threefold sense of belonging: to a charismatic family, to a spiritual family, and to an apostolic family.

Sr. Gabriela Patiño Osorio, Delegate of the World Confederation of Mornese FMA Past Pupils and Sr. Lucrecia Uribe, World Delegate of the Association of Salesian Cooperators (ASSCC), collaborators of the Sector, presented the Documentation present on the website of the FMA Institute, with useful material for the formation and animation of the Associates.

In conclusion, there was a moment of dialogue with the Delegates, listening to their requests. There was a need to give continuity to these formative meetings, which will be held at least twice a year, as moments of sharing and charismatic deepening.
