Nairobi (Kenya). From august 23 to 31, 2019 the Mother General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians is visiting Our Lady of Hope Province (AFE).
On August 23, Mother Yvonne Reungoat was greeted in a climate of welcome and fraternal closeness at the airport and then at the Provincial House. In her greeting to the sisters at the time of her arrival, Mother Yvonne expressed the joy of meeting her daughters, of having the opportunity to learn about the works and the mission in the land of Kenya.
On 24 August she met the community animators and in the afternoon she presided over the celebration of entry to the Novitiate of 5 Postulants. Sharing the emotion of this moment, the young women expressed their joy of having the privilege of receiving the medal from the hands of Mother General, and they perceived how this is for them a step of further responsibility on their journey of formation.
Mother Yvonne remains in the Province until August 31 to meet with all the FMA, with the various ecclesial representatives, with the Provincial, and the Salesians, representatives of some groups of the Salesian Family, lay and young collaborators, and students.
