Sam Phran (Thailand). On 22 December  2021, at the Meeting Center Ban Than Phraphon of Mary Help of Christians Community of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of Sam Phran, of St. Mary Mazzarello Province (THA),  the 1st  online concert “Mini concert  FMA Oratory” On the theme “People next door in the spaces of our home”, which involved girls, young people, and teachers of the FMA Schools in Thailand.

The event, carried out on an online platform and through social channels, was organized by the Thai Province Communication Department, in view of the 150th of the Foundation of the FMA Institute (1872-2022), to nourish the family spirit among the sisters, teachers, lay staff, children, and adolescents of the FMA Schools. It was also an opportunity to share the musical talents of young people who through music, occupy their time in a useful and creative way.

The Provincial, Sr. Nipha Rangabpit, led the opening celebration together with several FMA, students, and staff present at Sam Phran. In an atmosphere of Salesian joy, the young people, the FMA, and the teachers performed with singing and with musical pieces accompanied with the guitar and other instruments.

The concert created is a first significant step to continue together with the Educating Communities to give life to new initiatives during the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the FMA Institute. The Provincial Communication and Online Oratory Teams thanked the Provincial and the FMA who encouraged and concretely supported the event, the people who collaborated, and above all the young people, singers, and musicians who performed with creativity, sharing their talent.

At the end of the event, Sr. Nipha wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, invoking the blessing and protection of the Virgin Mary, “She who walks in our house …”, for everyone and for the Salesian realities.
