Rome (Italy). Tuesday 15 March 2022, at 19:30 (Italian time) appointment on TV2000: the program “In cammino” will deal live with the theme: “The synod in the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians”.
The Superior General, Mother Chiara Cazzuola, will be present in the studio for the broadcast. In connection, Sr. Alessandra Smerilli, FMA, ad interim Secretary of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development of the Holy See, will speak. During the broadcast, a short video made in the “Auxilium” Pontifical Faculty of Science of Education in Rome will be shown.
The “In cammino” program is a daily appointment to tell the journey towards the Synod, starting from the story of the vitality of the Italian Church, from the richness of its charisms and ministries, from the plurality of its voices, from the innovative proposals of dioceses, parishes, congregations, movements capable of responding to the spiritual and material needs of women and men, young people, and the elderly who inhabit Italy today.
During the XXIV General Chapter, held in Rome from 12 September to 24 October 2021, in the experience of “walking together”, one of the priority choices made by the FMA Institute is missionary synodality “as a way of life to listen to the cry of poor and of the earth and to make bold evangelical choices” (Acts of GCXXIV no. 29).
