Medellín (Colombia). October 7, on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Province of St. Mary Mazzarello of Medellín (CMM) inaugurated the renewed Salesianas Medellín website: www.salesianasmedellin.org.
The inauguration took place in every community of the province with the reading of the presentation letter sent by Sr. Sara Valencia, Province Communication Coordinator, and with viewing the video presentation which illustrates 10 keys to understanding the dynamics of the site. At the end of the presentation, the Communities could freely browse the site and send a feedback message on the experience through the Contact page.
Journeying toward GCXXIV, following Mary’s call “Do whatever he tells you” (Jn 2:5), with the new site, the CMM Province aims to tell stories that nourish life, to be “Communities that generate life in the heart of contemporaneity. ”
The Province Communication Team expressed its gratitude to each FMA and Community who supported and provided information so that the site could come to light. Its updating is the commitment of all the Educating Communities. Hence the invitation to recount and make life visible, sharing news, materials, events, and other resources.
As Pope Francis highlights in the Message for the 54th World Day of Social Communications 2020:
“Each of us knows different stories that have the perfume of the Gospel, which testified to the Love that transforms life. These stories claim to be shared, told, made to live in every time, with every language, with every means.”
