Bogotá (Colombia). From 18 to 21 August 2023, in the headquarters of the Province of Our Lady of the Snow (CBN) of Bogotá, the meeting of the Communication Coordinators of the Interprovincial Conference of the Bolivarian Nations (CINAB) took place.
The objective of the meeting was to continue with the review and planning of the CINAB formation project on Communication for young women in the initial formation phase and for the Temporary Professed Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, providing times of updating that allow them to strengthen the educational-communicative mission in their own Provinces.
Sr. Doris Jaimes, from Our Lady of the Rosary Province of Chiquinquirá (CBC); Sr. Alejandra Arango, from Our Lady of the Snow Province (CBN); Sr. Marleny Patiño, from St. Maria Mazzarello Province (CMM); Sr. Beatriz Loaiza from Our Lady of Peace Province (BOL); Sr. Ruth Sarango, from Sacred Heart Province (ECU); Sr. Graciela Castillo, from St. Rosa of Lima Province (PER); Sr. Sarahi Contreras, from St. John Bosco Province (VEN).
During the working days, in addition to sharing experiences and challenges in the field of communication in the context of accompaniment in initial formation, the FMA received valuable content through practical workshops that allowed them to acquire new skills to strengthen educational processes – communications in their respective Provinces.
An important milestone achieved in this meeting was the updating of the CINAB Communication Project. In an atmosphere of fraternity, with a great sense of belonging and responsibility, the Sisters worked together to review the formation plan in order to respond to the changing needs and realities of today’s society.
The work in synergy between the various Provinces gives substance to the communication itineraries of the Bolivarian Nations and is an expression of the commitment to offer a solid formation to future generations of Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, recognizing that Communication is fundamental in this process. The commitment to proclaiming the Gospel in the new digital scenarios is also renewed, where young people expect a significant and daring presence.
