Rome (Italy). On 30 May 2024 at 2.30 pm (Italian time), at the end of the month dedicated to Mary, The Social Communication Sector of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians proposes a Marian Festival that desires to gather the voices of the whole Salesian world in a song of praise to the Mother of all humanity.
Through live streaming, there is the opportunity to travel the whole world to discover how every people, with the beauty and charm of their culture, expresses with song, the trust and great love for Her Whom the Lord gave as Mother to humanity.
The preparation of the Marian Festival was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Provincial Coordinators for Social Communication – FMA and lay people – who, divided into inter-provincial Conferences, were able to involve young people in formation, lay collaborators, and Sisters to make known the Marian traditions typical of their Countries. Under various titles, the world invokes Mary with different rhythms and melodies, but unique is love that unites us for our Heavenly Mother.
The Festival will open with the greeting of Mother General, Sister Chiara Cazzuola, who in Circular No. 1037, invites to prolong and renew today Don Bosco’s gratitude to Mary by continuing to propose it to all – young people, adults, families – “to make grow in their hearts the conviction that we must never separate from Mary Most Holy, because she leads us to Jesus” and to continue to believe that “her protective mantle widens enormously and welcomes and guards us all”.

Una preghiera corale in tutte le lingue del mondo, un Volto sempre tenero, quello della Vergine Santa, dolcezza di bambini sfiorati dalle bombe, voci adulte e accorate, bellezza delle danze: tutto per l’unica DONNA, MADRE di tutti e di tutte le creature. Grazie per questo dono coraggioso che riscalda il cuore e ci porta accanto a fratelli e sorelle. Maria, Donna itinerante e pellegrina, continua a correre dove la invocano.
