Pieszyce (Polonia). From 31 October to 3 November 2019 in the house of the FMA in Pieszyce, the group of 54 FMA of Mary Help of Christians Province (PLA), with the Provincial Sr. Anna Świątek celebrated the Provincial Chapter.
The solemn opening of this provincial event took place with the Eucharistic celebration presided by the Provincial Fr. Jarosław Pizoń of the Salesian Province of Wrocław, with the participation of representatives of the Salesian Family, collaborators, and young members of the youth Provincial Council.
The presence of the laity constituted a significant part of the Provincial Chapter. In fact, a group of lay people, in particular Salesian Cooperators, Collaborators who work in Salesian houses, and parents engaged in the elaboration of the answer to the first question proposed by the Letter in Preparation for the GCXXIV of Mother General, Sister Yvonne Reungoat. Furthermore, the group presented its message addressed to the FMA in which it thanked them for their response to the vocational call: “We are ready to engage in a collaboration on an equal footing and, together with you, to face the educational challenges. We want to create a home with you that is based on dialogue for the good of children and young people. Working with God’s grace, we can do everything!”.
The time spent in the Upper Room of Pieszyce, rich in different inspirations from the Gospel text of the Wedding at Cana (cf. Jn 2: 1-12), constituted an authentic celebration of the life of the PLA Province.
