Cordoba (Argentina). On 4 May 2023, in Cordoba, at the headquarters of Laura Vicuña Province (ARG), the Provincials of the Provinces of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of the Interprovincial Conference CICSAL and the Provincials of the Provinces of the Salesians of Don Bosco in the Southern Cone area of America, including Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay met to share the themes of Youth Ministry and Schools.

Present at the meeting were Sr. Leslie Sándigo, General Councilor for the Salesian Family; Sr. Silvia Boullosa, ARG Provincial; Sr. Ángeles Grassi (URU), Sr. Marcia Toledo (PAR), Sr. Ximena Oyarzo (CIL), Fr. Gabriel Romero, SDB, Councilor for the America South Cone Region; Fr. Giovanni Rolandi, visiting the ARN Province; Fr. Alfonso Bauer, URU Provincial; Fr. Carlo Lira (CIL), Fr. Horacio Barbieri (ARN), Fr. Darío Pereda (ARS), and Fr. Mario Villalba (PAR).

FMA and SDB shared an afternoon of fraternity, prayer, and formation, in which they had the opportunity to listen via the Zoom platform, to the interventions of Fr. Francisco Miranda, SDB of Paraguay and of Mr. Juan Pablo Vásquez, responsible for the Area SDB Education in Chile; of the respective Secretariats of Pastoral Care of the South (SEPSUR) and School Pastoral Care, which addressed common themes and projections in their animation service.

During the day, there was also a space for sharing with the Sisters of the Provincial House ARG and the FMA who are responsible for the Sectors, called to participate in the annual meeting.

The meeting concluded with the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the General Councilor Fr. Gabriel Romero, who encouraged us to continue walking as a Salesian Family with hope and in communion, to continue to bear witness to our vocation with courage, like the first missionary brothers and sisters who have left a legacy of tireless evangelizing dedication.
