Nizza (Italy). Every 3rd of the month, for more than a year now, in the Church of the Sacred Heart at the Institute of Our Lady of Grace in Nizza, in the Province of Mary Help of Christians (IPI), we pray the rosary with and through the intercession of Venerable Sister Teresa Valsè Pantellini.

Numerous requests for intercession and prayer arrive from all over the world both to thank for a grace received and to ask her intercession for healing of loved ones, to entrust young spouses, for the growth of their children, for peace in places of war, to help find a job, to have support during difficult exams.

The Rosary is also transmitted by video streaming on the Facebook profile and on the Website of the Historical Archives of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in Piedmont.

This month, both Marianna and her family from Novara came on pilgrimage to the tomb of Sr. Teresa Valsè, as did Katia Garuti, the great-grandniece of the blessed.

It was the first time that Katia had come to Nizza M. and she was moved reflecting on the fact that she was not only in the place where the mortal remains of her great Aunt are kept, but thinking that she could walk in the same places where the Venerable made her first and perpetual profession, crowning her desire to be a Daughter of Mary Help of Christians.

On August 3, 1903, in fact, after a week of spiritual exercises, Sr. Teresa Valsè Pantellini made her first religious profession in Nizza at the foot of the altar of the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace.

The choice to become a Daughter of Mary Help of Christians was long and often hindered, but at a certain point she feels that it is time and she can no longer delay; she would be lacking in her duty. It was her desire, and even more the will of God who calls her, and had determined her from many years before, to consecrate herself to the Lord in religious life.

From her first Communion, made at Poggio Imperiale, she solemnly promised herself to God. She overcomes indecision, struggles, reflects for a long time, and finally obeys the will of God. I have irrevocably decided. It will be this determination that makes her choose the sisters of Don Bosco, where she undoubtedly knows that God wants her: “The Lord wants me at His service, He asks me to renounce everything and everyone for Him. I will offer every act of virtue, every work, every effort, in short, for your true good here and in heaven.” So still today we continue to entrust ourselves to her, so that she may intercede with the Lord to help us on our daily journey!
