Rome (Italy). The song “How much life” is online, dedicated to Mother Yvonne, created by  Mary Mother of the Church Preprovince (RMC) for the World Feast of Gratitude 2021 Networked for a  culture of life.

The musical piece “Quanta vita” is the result of the collaboration between Sunlight Project (Anna Benedetti and Gianluca Anselmi) and the international group Gen Verde. Thanks to their concession, it was possible to have the musical basis of the song on which the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of Mary Mother of the Church Preprovince (RMC)  Rome, were able to record their particular interpretation.

The song is dedicated to Mother Yvonne Reungoat, Superior General of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, on the occasion of the World Feast of Gratitude which is celebrated on 25 April  2021.

The song highlights the richness of life that exists in the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, the strength of unity, the plurality of languages and colors, the joy that characterizes and makes the “Salesian  Sisters of Don Bosco” recognized everywhere.

Text Song for Feast of Gratitude 2021

The passage is an expression of the richness of  Mary Mother of the Church Preprovince (RMC), whose main work is the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences “Auxilium”, in collaboration with the University Pastoral Care of the Faculty.

The content of the song expresses:

  • Internationality and interculturality: the Sisters of different nationalities dance to the same rhythm and each one maintains its own expressive style;
  • Communion among the communities: the Sisters come from the communities that make up the five university colleges and the video footage was shot in all five houses, to express the sense of communion between the communities;
  • Being among and with the young: young students, educators, administrative staff dance together, a sign of the profound sharing of life around the same charism;
  • ‘Acting’ together: the young lay women are students of the “Auxilium” Faculty who have let themselves be involved in a very special experience, which goes beyond academic spaces;
  • The heartbeat of life: the lively rhythm of the song also represents the beauty of the community of the Preprovince, composed for the most part by young FMA students who daily offer the richness of their personality;
  • “Our” thank you: is a song of gratitude for the commitment of each sister who shares the cultural mission of the Faculty and promotes the culture of life for the spread of the Kingdom of God, especially among young people today!
