Rome (Italy). On 26 March 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., a roundtable discussion on the theme, “Formative Accompaniment in the Novitiate” will be held at the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences “Auxilium” and online via the Teams platform.
This initiative forms part of the Formation Course for Formators in the field of consecrated life, which has been active for several years at the “Auxilium” Faculty. The afternoon study session is open not only to those enrolled in the Course but also to formators from various Institutes, as well as to all religious women and consecrated women, particularly Superiors, who wish to attend.
The Round Table serves as a forum for dialogue regarding diverse experiences of formative accompaniment undertaken within the Novitiate, taking into account the current epochal shift along with the new imperatives, possibilities, and challenges that call for new educational processes better attuned to the existential questions and formative needs emerging from the world of youth.
The dialogue and sharing among Novice Formators will facilitate entry into this highly delicate realm of formation processes, as they share objectives, pathways, including those left unfinished, patient expectations, questions, relational challenges, and a sense of attunement along their evangelical and charismatic paths.
The program for the Round Table – moderated by Sister Pina Del Core, FMA, Professor of Discernment and Vocational Accompaniment at the “Auxilium” Faculty, following the opening remarks by the Principal, Sister Piera Silvia Ruffinatto, features presentations by:

A discussion between the speakers and the audience will conclude the afternoon study session.
