Haledon (United States of America). From 15 to 16 March 2025, the Animators of the Province of St. Joseph (SEC) joined with the Provincial, sister Colleen Clair, and the Provincial Council, in Haledon, for the annual Spring Animators meeting.
On the first day of the gathering, the Sisters shared on the document, “Guidelines for the Formation of New Animators.” During the October 2024 meeting, the group shared reflections on the first six guidelines. At this meeting, the last six guidelines were used for reflection.
The second day of the gathering included a sharing and discussion on aspects of our community life and Charism. Sr. Colleen reminded the group that it was important to schedule monthly retreats and make available the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Also, she recommended that the Animators remember the Rosary in common, the Rendi-Conto, and the importance of Recreation.
Upcoming Province events were also a source of sharing: the April Province Assembly, the August CIMAC-NAC Verifica to name a few. Finally, the Provincial Treasurer, Sr. Margaret Wilhelm shared some directives pertaining to the record keeping and accounts of each community.
The meeting concluded with the Celebration of the Eucharist held at the Provincial House. The entire time together proved to be one of sisterly communion in the service of the Sisters, the mission, and the Charism.
