Rome (Italy). From 24 to 26 April 2022, World Gratitude Day will take place in the places of the origins of the FMA Institute, in Turin, Mornese, Nizza Monferrato, Piedmont, with the theme “They are my daughters”. The Feast is part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Foundation of the Institute (1972-2022) and aims to be an expression of gratitude to the Lord for the generous ‘yes’ of the Mother General of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Sr. Chiara Cazzuola, elected on October 2021 to the service of animation and government.
Mother Chiara will be present in Piedmont during the three days, which include moments of celebration and dialogue and visits to charismatic places, where she will meet young people, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, civil and ecclesial authorities, Provincials and Animators, young people in formation.
Sunday 24 April – Turin/Mornese
At Valdocco, Turin, Mother Chiara Cazzuola participates in the event of MGS Day.
At 10:30, in the Grand Theater of Valdocco, young people will interview Mother and at 12:30 there will be celebrated Holy Mass in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians (DIRECT YouTube and Facebook beginning at 10:30).
At Mornese, in the evening, a Vigil is planned animated by the young people in formation of various Provinces. At the end, the Good Night of Mother Chiara.
Monday 25 April – Mornese/Turin
At Mornese at 9:15, in the Sanctuary of St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello, the day opens with the entrustment to Mary, “I entrust them to you”, and the Eucharistic Celebration (DIRECT YouTube and Facebook).
In the morning, Mother Chiara will meet with the young women in formation for a time of dialogue.
At Turin, in the Grand Theater of Valdocco, at 16:30 there will take place the World Feast of Gratitude (DIRECT YouTube and Facebook).
Tuesday 26 April – Nizza Monferrato
At 10:00 Mother is planned to arrive at Our Lady of Grace Institute, with the welcome of the students and of the Salesian Schools of Nizza, Asti, and Alessandria.
While the Celebration for the youngest ones is animated by tournaments and games, Mother Chiara Cazzuola will meet with some FMA Provincials and Animators.
In the afternoon, the visit is planned to the locales of the Professional Courses CIOFS/FP – the Laboratory for professional qualification as a Wellness-Aesthetic Operator, the aeroponic greenhouse, the desiccator room, the sensory path, the work area for gardening and fruit orchards – and at 14:00, a journey through the premises of the Institute, with historical-charismatic re-enactments.
At 16:30, the Eucharistic Celebration in Our Lady of Grace Sanctuary, presided by the Bishop of Asti, Msgr. Marco Prastaro (DIRECT YouTube and Facebook).
At 18:00, at the Foro Boario, Mother Chiara Cazzuola will receive from the Mayor of the city of Nizza Monferrato the conferral of Honorary Citizenship on the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians.
