Santiago (Chile). On 7 January 2020, the meeting of the Central Commission of the Salesian School of America was held at the House for Spiritual Exercises of the Missionary Servants of the Holy Spirit in Santiago (ESA).

After the Celebration of the opening Eucharist, the participants worked on the points planned by the Agenda:  the ESA Identity Card, re-examining the functions of the Regional Referent, the ESA logo, the Website, planning the meeting for July 2020.  Other topics treated were the feedback from the meeting of the Dicastery and Sector for Youth Pastoral held in Rome at the FMA Generalate on 11 December 2019, Spanish language publications, and the documents of ESA IV and the Educational Pact.

Representatives from various areas of the continent were present at the meeting: Sister Adair Sberga FMA, Referent of the Interprovincial Conference of Brazil (CIB); Ana Paula Costa de Silva, Referent of the Conference of Provinces of the Salesians of Don Bosco of Brazil (CISBRASIL); Fr. Carlos SDB, MESOAMÉRICA Referent; Sister Patrícia Parraguez, FMA, Referent of the Interprovincial Conference of the South Cone of Latin America (CICSAL) and of the Youth Ministry Secretariat of the South Cone (SEPSUR); Sister Bertha Vivas FMA, Referent of the Interprovincial Conference of Nations Bolivarian (CINAB); the Referent of the Youth Pastoral Sector of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Sister Ivone Goulart Lopes; and the Referent of the Salesian Youth Pastoral Dicastery of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Fr. René Antonio Santos. The SDB contact person of the Andean Region and SEPSUR and the FMA contact person of the Interprovincial Conference of Mexico, Antilles, and Central America (CIMAC) were not able to be present.

At the end of the meeting, the new document was born: Identity Card of the Salesian School of America, which will be sent to the FMA Provincials and SDB Provincials, and presented at the Regional Meetings on Education of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and of the Salesians.
