Haverstraw, New York (United States). Responding to the need for a systematic formation both for those who are in initial formation  and to help the actual Salesian Cooperators, the three Salesian Provinces of the United States and Canada organized a workshop on June 28-30, 2019 at Haverstraw, New York.

The Delegates of the Salesian Family, Fr. Tom Dunne (SUA) and Sr. Denise Sickinger (SEC) had a strategic role in the development of the workshop that provided the participants with greater clarity and commitment for the unique vocation of the Salesian Cooperator.

Among the ninety persons present there were local coordinators and formation directors, in addition to delegates from the Center, the Salesian Provincials, Fr. Ted Montemayor (SUO) and Fr. Tim Zak (SUA), and the Provincial Sr. Joanne Holloman (SEC) who offered their support and their presence.  Eighteen other SDB and ten other FMA participated at the seminar to deepen their understanding of the vocation of the Salesian Cooperator, the process of the formation of the cooperator, and to share their experiences.
