Santo Domingo (Dom. Rep.). On November 5, 2018 the 4th Congress of the FMA Past Pupils of America concluded that took place in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic beginning on 1 November 2018.
The last day of work began with a greeting from Sr. Phyllis Neves, Visiting Councilor, who expressed gratitude for the Salesian work and atmosphere of joy that the participants lived during the Congress.
In the Eucharist, Fr. Luis Rodríguez Simé, SDB, invited the participants to share this experience with their Federations and Unions and to communicate with life, faith, and love as well as with technologies.
The guidelines of commitment of the FMA Past Pupils of America were presented:
- Create a YouTube site or account for America and the Antilles, to share news, formation topics, and different resources.
- Involve pupils in the life of the Association, listen to their concerns, evaluate their proposals, and offer them accompaniment in the process of integration in their own Union.
The next venue for the V American Congress was announced and it will be held in Peru in 2023. The certificate of participation and the recognition of special guests and some members of the Federation of Antilles was made.
At the end there was the presentation of a dance by the girls ‘Canillitas with Laura Vicuña’ of Mother Mazzarello Work of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in Santo Domingo.
