Sister Carmelita also reported the reflection of the General Councilor for Communication of the FMA Institute, Sister Maria Ausilia De Siena, who affirms: “Communication is not just informing, but educating, accompanying, and creating bonds. Taking care of the network is not a secondary commitment, but an essential part of the mission.” For this reason, the aim of a communication team “is not so much ‘to do’, but to create a space for sharing, common growth, and co-responsibility.”

During the meeting, some moments stood out for their relevance and also for the urgency of strengthening the sense of belonging, especially in relation to the developments that Communication acquires in each CIB Province.

Sister Maike also shared details of the meeting in the presence of ECOSAM, held in San Lorenzo, Paraguay, in which the Verifica of the three-year period 2023-2025 took place and the three-year period 2026-2028 was planned, in addition to the appointment of the new coordinator of the Team.

The group also revisited the III National Communication Meeting of the Salesian Network Brazil (ENAC), favoring the theme of the Profile of the Salesian Communicator. One of the priorities of the Provincial Coordinators is to systematically accompany and promote the ongoing formation of local communicators, to guarantee increasingly professional work aligned with the values of the Salesian Charism.
