Rome (Italy). Towards the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (1872-2022), the Salesian Family Sector of the FMA Institute offers the proposal of the Virtual Pilgrimage to Mornese “Walking with you, Main”.
The Pilgrimage, presented during the Salesian Family Spirituality Days 2022, is addressed to the FMA, to the Groups of the Salesian Family accompanied by them: FMA Past Pupils, Salesians, Cooperators, ADMA Association, and others, and to those who live the Salesian mission with the FMA.
The meetings, lasting 90 minutes, will be held from 13 February to 22 May 2022, every two months, on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.
The objective of the Pilgrimage is to promote a virtual space to get to know and deepen the life and experience of Saint Mary Domenica Mazzarello and of the first sisters of Mornese, to whom we owe the initial feminine touch to the Salesian charism. Knowing them more deeply allows us to integrate their charismatic richness, to be significant presences in our own contexts.
The meetings are coordinated by Sr. Leslye Sàndigo, Councilor for the Salesian Family and coordinator of the Project Mornese, with an FMA team and lay collaborators from various backgrounds.
The methodology is interactive, via the ZOOM platform, with the possibility of simultaneous translation into Italian, Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese, according to different timetables for continents:
- Europe and Africa – at 15:00 (Italian time)
- America – at 22:00 (Italian time)
- Asia and Oceania – 9:00 (Italian time)
