Rome (Italy). On November 23, 2019 the Temporary Professed of Mary Mother of the Church Preprovince (RMC) gathered in Mother Ersilia Canta community in Rome for a day of formation and sharing experiences.  There were 18 Temporary Professed coming from the five communities that comprise the Preprovince.

Sr. Chiara Cazzuola, the Vicar General, led the reflection on the theme: “FMA accompanied#accompaniers of quality” studying the word accompaniment using Mother’s Circular 985, Salesian sources, and the Final Document of the Synod of Bishops on Young People. The Temporary Professed rediscovered accompaniment as a constant presence of proximity, listening, tenderness, and willingness to live together. In fact, every community is called to take on an evangelical pedagogy of the sequela Christi and the transmission of the charism in the educational relationship. Don Bosco and Mary Domenica Mazzarello knew how to accompany people because they had made their own the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales, an expert guide in the holiness of everyday life. Thus accompaniment has its origins in our charismatic roots and the FMA are therefore called to accompany others. However, to be able to carry out this action of accompaniment, we must first of all experience being accompanied.

After the in-depth study of Sister Chiara Cazzuola, the Temporary Professed of Auxilium who participated in the Chapter of the RMC Preprovince and the Italian Temporary Professed of the Provinces to which they belong, shared their rich experience, valuing the climate of profound spiritual discernment and sisterly communion.

For the young women in formation, these meetings are opportunities for human, Christian, and Salesian growth.
