San Paolo (Brazil). The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of the Communities of Central-West Brazil, of the Province of Our Lady Aparecida (BAP), accompanied with prayer and awaited the Provincial, Sr. Nilza Fátima de Moraes, along the itinerary of the Provincial Visit.

The Provincial Visit has the purpose of “promoting communion in the family spirit, fidelity to the Constitutions and the vitality of the works.” (C 147)

On 9 June 2021 the Provincial began the visit to the FMA Communities of the Province of Campo Grande, in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS). In each community, Sr.  Nilza led the Lectio Divina on the theme of the Visitation of Mary to her cousin Elizabeth (Lk 1: 39-56), offering food for thought and asking the communities: What drives us to leave quickly? How are our encounters? What can we learn from the experience of the encounter of Mary and Elizabeth?

Her presence in every community  brought serenity, generating an atmosphere of fraternity and listening. The joyful closeness of Sr. Nilza is an encouragement in the mission for the Kingdom of God and in living the Salesian charism with intensity.

The FMA Communities thanked God and Mary Help of Christians for the sisterly presence of the Provincial among them, entrusting her to the Holy Spirit that He may guide her steps and enlighten discernment, so that the commitment to “be communities that generate life” may be fulfilled.
