Rome (Italy). The 40th edition of the Salesian Family Spirituality Days (GSFS) will be held from 13 to 16 January 2022 in Turin-Valdocco.
The theme of the Days is inspired by the Strenna of the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, for the year 2022: “Do everything for love, nothing by force”, to deepen the spirituality of the Saint who inspired Don Bosco in the foundation of the Salesian Congregation, St. Francis de Sales, on the 4th centenary of his death.
“It will undoubtedly be a precious experience for the worldwide Salesian Family. The good work of the Consults, Provincial, and local Councils will be decisive in helping us to feel and share the Salesian Spirit which has, in the Saint of Annecy, one of its main sources,” explained Fr. Joan Lluís Playà, World Delegate for the Salesian Family.
There will be two ‘levels’ of participation in the GSFS 2022: World and Regional.
The World – In-Presence program will begin on 13 January 2022 and will end on 16 January 2022 with the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Rector Major. The World program will be broadcast in live streaming from Turin, every day from 13:00 to 15:00 (Italian time).
The Regional program will be broadcast from the venue chosen by each Region: America (single region); Africa and Madagascar; Mediterranean; Northeast Europe; South Asia; East Asia and Oceania. The SF Groups will unite the communities and/or local groups to the Region in which they are present. The specific moments are organized by the regional teams. The referents will send the members the information necessary to participate in the events provided for in their respective programs.
Around 250 people are expected to participate in the activities in-presence at Valdocco-Turin, representing the 32 groups of the Salesian Family.

Es muy reconfortante, en este difícil momento que vive el Mundo , pensar que lo que se hace por cada hermano, es por amor y no a la fuerza. Cuando se trabaja con Amor ,se lo hace con Alegría ,Esperanza y Paz. Lo cual es muy satisfactorio ,para el que realiza cualquier actividad como para quien recibe el beneficio. Los une la alegría de una sonrisa , la esperanza de lograr un deseo o satisfacer una necesidad. Y la Paz que se siente de lo algo concretado.
