Rome (Italy). The initiative of the “Salesian Thursdays at Auxilium” restarts, from November 2022 to April 2023, the annual appointment on pedagogy, spirituality, and history of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, proposed by Studies Center on the FMA of the Pontifical Faculty of Education “Auxilium” in Rome.

One Thursday a month, the presenters’ interventions can be followed in live streaming on YouTube Channel of the Studies Center, to deepen some of the contents of the Congress “Contribution of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians – Salesians of Don Bosco to Education. Paths, Challenges, and Perspectives”, held in Rome, at the FMA Generalate, from 25 to 30 September 2022.

On 3 November, in the first appointment, Sr. Sylwia Ciezkowska, FMA, Professor of the History of Christian Spirituality of the “Auxilium” Faculty, will propose a reflection on the holiness of the FMA in the broad scenario of the Salesian Charism and in the ecclesial context of the last 150 years. She will broaden the gaze to the other women’s groups of the Salesian Family, to arouse interest in knowing them and grasping the richness of their contributions, and to become more generative in society, more synodal in the Church, and more operative in the area.

At the end of each meeting, registration will remain available to allow educators, Educating Communities and FMA Communities, and those interested in the issues to transform the current charismatic and educational challenges into formative opportunities.

The FMA Studies Center will also continue to insert documents on the site and, in collaboration with Don Bosco Studies Center of the Salesian Pontifical University, on the research portal Salesian online.
