(Mexico). The Sports Unit of the Autonomous University of Coahuila was the venue for the inaugural event of the 20th Inter-Salesian Games 2018 of the Mexican Province Mater Ecclesiae (MMO).
Various governmental and educational authorities presided over the event. Present for the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians were Sr. Leonor Gpe. Salazar, Provincial, and all the Animators of the educating communities that participated in the games.
This event was lived in an atmosphere of great joy and sense of belonging, strengthening family unity and stimulating cooperation and friendship, encounter, discipline, and respect for each other.
This year, the sports games took place in the Community of Saltillo, organized by the Valle Arizpe Institute and brought together more than 1,600 students from the Educational Centers of the different States of the Mexican Republic, who competed from April 26th until Sunday April 29th, 2018
The Eucharist of Sunday V was very festive, full of signs and celebrated with fervor and Easter joy. In conclusion, there was the pleasant surprise of a short message from Sr. Maria Luisa Miranda, Councilor for the Salesian Family, who together with Sr. Leonor encouraged us to continue to be united to the True Vine and congratulated the organizing community and everyone present for the experience of these sports days.
