Rome (Italy). On Sunday, 30 March 2025, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in temporary vows and from 7 to 10 years of Profession of Mary Mother of the Church Preprovince (RMC), accompanied by the Superior of the Preprovince, Sister Jessica Salvaña, and the Animators of the four Communities, had a day of reflection and sharing with Mother Chiara Cazzuola, Superior General of the FMA Institute, with Sister María del Rosario García Ribas, Vicar General, and Sister Nilza Fátima de Moraes, Councilor for Formation.
After the initial reception, Mother Chiara in her talk invited the young FMA to retrace their personal history and the motivations of their “yes”, to find the meaning of a life spent for God and for young people and to rediscover the call to live the mysticism of everyday life. She pointed to the window of the Valponasca as a synthesis of the FMA’s mysticism, because it is the best place where you meet the Lord daily.
Then Sister María del Rosario, starting from article 8 of the Constitutions of the FMA Institute, invited them to listen, to awaken latent resources, and to creatively release new energies for the good of the Preprovince. A long space of silence allowed them to confront the provocations that emerged from the experience, provocations that demand a response, that push for change, solicit openness and willingness for personal conversion.
Working in groups and sharing the challenges of everyday life enriched all and found a deep convergence in the commitment to live union with God in the complexity of daily life, valuing relationship, intergenerational and intercultural dialogue.
The final greeting of Sister Nilza also brought the young FMA to the commitment to live the grace of unity, looking at Mother Mazzarello, her heart in love with the Lord and fixed on Him.
Before the end of the day, each was invited to stop in silence in the environment of the Charism Exhibit, to make the synthesis of the day. In the hearts of all, gratitude remained alive thanks to the Community of the General House for the welcome and generous availability.
Each one returned to her own community, eager to live and share with the Sisters the fruitfulness of daily life lived with love and joy.
