Rome (Italy). The third issue of the Da Mihi Animas (DMA) magazine of the year 2025 is published with the underlying theme of Hope. After delving into “Hope in the signs of the times” (DMA 1) and “Hope is a journey together” (DMA 2), the new issue has the title Hope is bold.

Sister Maria Ausilia De Siena, Councilor for Communication of the FMA Institute, in the editorial speaks of hope as one “silent force of those who get up every day and keep walking” and a boldness, especially educational, which is not “recklessness, but deep love and prophetic vision, concrete response to the mission entrusted by God.”

In a world that often rewards indifference, hope can appear out of place, instead precisely because of its “madness” – says Sister Ausilia – it is revolutionary. “Ultimately, hope is bold because it believes in change, in the potential hidden in people, in the idea that even a small light can break the darkness. It’s a risk, yes, but it’s a risk worth taking. Always.”

The magazine is enriched with multimedia insights, available on the recently renewed www.rivistadma.org, website, easily accessible from PCs, tablets, and smartphones. Translated into six languages, it is also available for download in a fully digital format.

The three-year period of preparation for the 150th anniversary of the first missionary expedition, which began on 14 November 2024, gives the magazine the opportunity to tell the story of the hope that so many FMA have been able to embody in their daily lives, sharing life with people. The article that narrates a mission experience is associated with a video-interview that can be found in the Multimedia.

A splendid example is Sister Maria Troncatti, Mother, Missionary, Artisan of peace and reconciliation, which in each issue an aspect is deepened, to follow her footsteps on the road to holiness.

All issues of the magazine – published from 2006 to date – can be consulted in the Archive, in the respective Translations.
