Bangalore (India). On 30 November 2025, at the headquarters of Sacred Heart of Jesus Province (INK) of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in Bangalore, the Salesian Family of the Karnataka Region joyfully gathered to celebrate Salesian Family Day with the theme, “We are one, we walk together, in the Salesian Spirit,” which reflects the commitment of the various branches to walk together in faith and service.

The event brought together FMAs, Salesians of Don Bosco, Salesian Cooperators, Past Pupils, youth representatives, and collaborators from various communities in Karnataka.

The FMAs of the Provincial community presented the recently canonized Saint Maria Troncatti as a shining model of missionary zeal and Salesian charity.

One of the highlights of the program was a short theatrical performance on the life and mission of Saint Maria Troncatti, staged by the Sisters of the Provincial House. Through expressive scenes depicting her service as a nurse, catechist, and missionary among the Shuar people, the performance captured her courage, compassion, and profound Salesian spirituality. The show offered a strong reminder of her heroic testimony and unwavering faith in Providence.

The Celebration concluded with the performance of a hymn composed in honor of Saint Maria Troncatti. Sung with devotion by Sisters and young people, the hymn expressed admiration for her holiness and invoked her intercession for all members of the Salesian Family who continue their mission among the young and the poorest.

The event not only celebrated a new Saint, but also strengthened the sense of unity and shared mission within the Salesian Family, echoing the theme in spirit and action: one heart, one family, walking together in the Salesian spirit.
