“The educative efficacy of the environment in the experience of Laura Vicuña” is the theme that will be explored by Sister Piera Ruffinatto, Dean of the «Auxilium» Faculty.

The meeting intends to present the efficacy of the Salesian educative environment based on the experience lived by Laura Vicuña in the community of Junin de los Andes, in Argentina.

Laura’s integral maturation itinerary is the fruit of the pedagogical love expressed by the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, but it is also the result of her personal commitment to openness and correspondence to the values proposed and to the work of God in her life.

Laura’s story confirms the conviction which supports and nourishes Salesian educative action that adolescence and youth are not a time of waiting, but seasons to develop the immense potential of good and creative possibilities at the service of their courageous choices, those that answer questions about the meaning of life.

The meeting is broadcast online from 18:30 (Italian time) and remains available on the YouTube channel Centro Studi FMA.
