Roma (Itália). Dia 24 de outubro de 2020 celebra-se o 12º aniversário da Eleição da Madre Geral do Instituto das Filhas de Maria Auxiliadora, Irmã Yvonne Reungoat.
As surpresas de Deus pedem-nos que acolhamos o inédito de cada dia, com esperança e confiança. Unimo-nos a Madre Yvonne para viver este tempo insólito, em comunhão umas com as outras e com o mundo, prontas a responder com alegria ao convite: “Fazei tudo o que Ele vos disser” (Jo 2,5).
E foi mesmo este o convite que o Reitor-Mor dos Salesianos de Dom Bosco, P. Ángel Fernández Artime, na Celebração Eucarística de 24 de outubro de 2014, dirigiu às Capitulares antes das votações, recordando Maria em Caná: «Tudo o que Ele vos disser, fazei-o»
Este, querida Madre, o apelo que ainda hoje te leva a empreender o caminho, em escuta atenta do Mestre, de Jesus e do seu Espírito, com o coração aberto e dócil para continuar a “encher as ânforas de água”, dedicação, alegria, amorevolezza, conforto e compaixão pelas FMA, os jovens e a Família Salesiana no mundo.
Com Maria, acolhendo este tempo extraordinário de generatividade, continuas a promover e a dar vida nova à missão para a qual foste chamada no longínquo dia 24 de outubro de 2014.
Interpelada sobre a tua disponibilidade em aceitar ser a sucessora de Madre Mazzarello, encarnar a sua maternidade, partilhar um novo tempo de profecia no Instituto FMA, ao serviço da Igreja, respondeste: «Aceito! Obrigada pela confiança. A expressão bíblica que me encoraja, é: “Quando sou fraco, então, é que sou forte”. Confio-me inteiramente a Maria e aceito o seu convite: «Fazei tudo o que Ele vos disser».
E assim, hoje, no 12º aniversário da Eleição, tu repetes ainda: “Dom Bosco garantia que a verdadeira Superiora do Instituto é Maria Auxiliadora. A Ela confio a missão de animar e governar o Instituto das FMA. Eu procurarei ser, como Madre Mazzarello, a sua Vigária”.
A ti, Madre, os votos de gratidão de todas as Filhas de Maria Auxiliadora, da Família Salesiana, Comunidades Educativas e jovens do mundo. Feliz aniversário!
