Vietnam. In response to the practical need for accessing and using official documents of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in Vietnam, and with the approval of Sr. Maria Hoang Thi Thu Ha, and the Provincial Council, the VTN Sector of Social Communication of the Mary Help of Christians (VTN) Province has initiated the Online Library project.
After a long period of preparation, and thanks to the active and selfless collaboration of Mr. Augustino Pham Khai, together with the valuable support of the Sisters in reading and retrieving information from the Circular Letters and providing essential materials, on 23 January 2026, on the eve of the Feast of St. Francis de Sales (24 January ) – Patron Saint of Catholic communicators, the VTN Province inaugurated the website dedicated to the Online Library of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians: thuvien.fmavtn.org
The website serves as a space for learning, reflection, and the deepening of faith, spirituality, and mission in accordance with Salesian spirituality. At the same time, it connects knowledge, nurtures spiritual life, and supports study and service within the community.
It’s designed with a user friendly interface, fully compatible with computers, tablets, and mobile phones. It offers both light and dark display modes, ensuring comfort and flexibility for extended reading.
It features a wide range of sections, including Books and Documents, Circular Letters, Journals and Publications, Prayers, Videos, Audio, Images, and Reference Materials, serving the spiritual life, study, research, community activities, and apostolic mission.
Documents are clearly organized and classified by category, author, translator, publisher, and language, allowing readers to easily search for information using filters or keywords.
For longer books and documents, the content is structured with detailed tables of contents, allowing readers to follow each chapter and section. The previous–next navigation system, together with clearly presented annotations, effectively supports study and academic research.
The Prayer section brings together prayers from the FMA Prayer Book, arranged according to themes and occasions, allowing quick access or keyword search. In addition, the Library provides links to official Church resources, including the Bible, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Code of Canon Law, and documents issued by the Vatican.
The Online Library of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians is established to serve the community and does not pursue commercial purposes. Its content is selected in accordance with Catholic orientation and the charism of the Institute, while promoting respect for copyright and proper citation when used for academic purposes.
In the coming period, the Library will continue to be updated and gradually expanded, with the aim of digitizing the public documents of the Institute to meet the needs of online access and reading, supporting faith life, study, and Salesian mission.
