America. On 26 November 2025, with an online event featuring a family-friendly and grateful atmosphere, the first Inter-Provincial Education Course, organized by the Inter-Provincial Conference of Bolivarian Nations (CINAB) and aimed at young people between the ages of 14 and 24 from the Salesian presences of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, concluded with the aim of strengthening communication skills in the Salesian style.

The program-titled “Communication and Charism” was developed during the CINAB Communication Coordinators Meeting, held in April 2025 in Lima, Peru, during which a roundtable discussion with young people provided an opportunity to listen to concerns, proposals, and expectations, leading to the design of the Course.

On  4 June, with youthful enthusiasm and a Salesian spirit, the official launch of the Course took place, with the presence of representatives of the Salesian University Foundation of Colombia (UNISALESIANA), the certifying institution, and the team of formators, who presented the contents with a creative, critical, intercultural approach rooted in the Charism of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello.

The Course took place from 18 September  to 19 November 2025, in virtual synchronous and asynchronous mode, with a program structured into two modules:

  • Module 1: Connect, communicate, and transform. Communicate from what I am. Inspired by Saint Mary Mazzarello, it focused on interpersonal skills, leadership, communication ethics, digital identity, and responsible use of information.
  • Module 2: Camera, voice, action! Communicate in the digital community. Starting from the figure of Don Bosco the communicator, it introduced participants to the production of multimedia content: storytelling, podcasts, informational videos, and transmedia narrative.

The methodology was active and experiential, encouraging young people’s participation and the integration of digital culture, everyday life, and the values of the Preventive System. A significant moment was that of the Salesian “Good Nights”, animated by the FMAs of the eight Provinces, strengthening charismatic identity and the sense of community.

During the final event on 26 November, the young people presented some of their audiovisual productions, the result of what they learned and their commitment to ethical, creative, and transformative communication.

On behalf of the Certifying Institution, Esdras Maldonado Díaz, coordinator of Continuing Education at UNISALESIANA, encouraged participants to bring what they learned into their daily lives and serve their communities. Similarly, Sister Celmira Serna, Provincial of the Colombian Mary Help of Christians Province (CMA) and President of CINAB, expressed her appreciation for this course and emphasized that communication is a way to build bonds, strengthen identity, and generate hope in the various Educating Communities.

During the closing ceremony, the educational work of Dioyner Martes Villa and Marco Padilla, teachers responsible for the two modules, was recognized. Certificates of participation, merit, and passing the course were also awarded.

Sister Doris Jaimes, Communications Coordinator of CINAB,  expressed gratitude to the organizing team and UNISALESIANA, congratulated the participants, true protagonists of this experience, and officially declared this valuable formation experience concluded.
