Roma (Italia). Il 26 aprile 2026 a Macas, in Ecuador, si celebra la Festa della Riconoscenza Mondiale, animata dall’Ispettoria Sacro Cuore (ECU). Programma della Festa
“Siate missionari ovunque” è il tema della Festa, che si colloca nel contesto della recente canonizzazione di Santa Maria Troncatti, missionaria, che proprio in Ecuador ha dato la vita per la riconciliazione tra coloni e shuar.
“La scelta di celebrare la Festa della Riconoscenza Mondiale in Ecuador, nell’Ispettoria ‘Sacro Cuore’, vuole essere un omaggio alla santità di suor Maria Troncatti, che ha vissuto ardentemente come missionaria nella terra diventata la ‘patria del cuore’, fino all’ultimo respiro”, spiega Madre Chiara nella Circolare n°1057.
“Celebrare la Festa della Riconoscenza nei luoghi in cui Santa Maria Troncatti è vissuta vuol dire riscoprire, nella ricca e avventurosa vita missionaria, la sua attitudine a decifrare gli interventi di Dio nella storia, a saper guardare con fiducia alla vita nei suoi aspetti positivi per scoprire tutti i segni di bene presenti. Ci ricorda che si può fare sempre qualcosa per migliorare la realtà”.
