Singapour.<\/strong> Le 7 septembre 2024, s\u0153ur Charlene Chua, Fille de Marie Auxiliatrice de la Province Marie Auxiliatrice<\/em> (CMY) originaire de Singapour, a re\u00e7u le Prix \u2018\u2019Femme d\u2019Excellence\u2019\u2019 (Woman of Distinction) de la part du Coll\u00e8ge du Saint Enfant J\u00e9sus (CHIJ), la plus ancienne \u00e9cole catholique pour jeunes filles de Singapour, o\u00f9 elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 pendant 10 ans, de la 1\u00e8re<\/sup> \u00e0 la 10\u00e8me<\/sup> ann\u00e9es de son parcours scolaire.<\/p>\n

La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de la remise du prix a eu lieu dans le cadre de la soir\u00e9e de la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration du 170\u00e8me<\/sup> anniversaire de l\u2019Institution scolaire, fond\u00e9e en 1854 par les s\u0153urs fran\u00e7aises de la Congr\u00e9gation de l\u2019Enfant J\u00e9sus (CHIJ).<\/p>\n

S\u0153ur Charlene Chua, la premi\u00e8re Fille de Marie Auxiliatrice de Singapour<\/a><\/span>, <\/strong>a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019une des 13 femmes \u00e0 recevoir le Prix,<\/strong> en reconnaissance des Anciennes El\u00e8ves qui vivent les valeurs du CHIJ de compassion, d\u2019humilit\u00e9, d\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9, de pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance et de foi dans leurs parcours de vie respectifs. Le prix lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 remis par Mme Jane Ittogi, \u00e9pouse du Pr\u00e9sident Tharman Shanmugaratnam, invit\u00e9e d\u2019honneur de la soir\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

S\u0153ur Charlene a partag\u00e9\u00a0: \u2018\u2019Bien qu\u2019il n\u2019y ait pas de pr\u00e9sence sal\u00e9sienne \u00e0 Singapour, Dieu m\u2019a pr\u00e9par\u00e9e \u00e0 la vie de FMA \u00e0 travers les ann\u00e9es que j\u2019qi pass\u00e9es au CHIJ, o\u00f9 j\u2019ai re\u00e7u une \u00e9ducation catholique ax\u00e9e sur les valeurs et le service aux autres. \u2018L\u2019esprit IJ\u2019 que j\u2019ai v\u00e9cu \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole m\u2019a \u00e9galement donn\u00e9 un avant-go\u00fbt de notre Esprit de Famille sal\u00e9sienne, dans un style l\u00e9g\u00e8rement diff\u00e9rent. Je suis tr\u00e8s reconnaissante envers les premi\u00e8res S\u0153urs IJ qui ont fond\u00e9 cette \u00e9cole qui m\u2019a aid\u00e9, ainsi que tant d\u2019autres jeunes femmes. Je remercie \u00e9galement pour le don de ma vocation de FMA, qui est la raison pour laquelle j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 nomin\u00e9e pour ce Prix\u2019\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

A la veille de l\u2019arriv\u00e9e du Pape Fran\u00e7ois \u00e0 Singapour, l\u2019espoir que cette reconnaissance puisse inspirer d\u2019autres jeunes femmes de Singapour \u2013 et d\u2019ailleurs \u2013 \u00e0 s\u2019ouvrir \u00e0 l\u2019appel de Dieu \u00e0 vivre Son merveilleux projet d\u2019Amour sur leur vie et \u00e0 \u00eatre des signes d\u2019esp\u00e9rance pour toute l\u2019humanit\u00e9.<\/p>\n
