Rome (Italy).<\/strong> The appointments of the “Salesian Thursdays at the Auxilium”<\/strong> resume – from November 2023 to April 2024 – on themes of pedagogy, spirituality, and history of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, proposed by Studies Center on the FMA <\/a><\/span><\/strong>of the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences \u00abAuxilium\u00bb of Rome.<\/p>\n

\u201cPreventive system, Salesian education yesterday and today\u201d<\/strong> is the common thread of this fourth edition. This will be done through the in-depth study of the relationship between the Preventive System and Salesian education, the reflection conducted for the 150th<\/sup> anniversary of the foundation of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians<\/strong>, and presented in the Acts of the International Conference<\/a><\/span><\/strong> \u00abContribution of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians to education (1872-2022). Paths, challenges, and perspectives”, held in Rome from 25 to 30 September 2022.<\/p>\n

The second strand explored during the monthly appointments will be the presentation of some Salesian religious women who, in various contexts and periods, have been creative interpreters of the Salesian educational system. The contact with the local territories and the language of belonging aims to highlight the close relationship between person and context, unity of the Institute, and cultural diversification. The intent is not so much to present edifying profiles, but rather to document the maturation of personal and community educational processes that have had positive effects.<\/p>\n

The bicentenary of the dream at nine years<\/strong> of age of Saint John Bosco (1824-2024) offers the opportunity for an in-depth analysis that confidently relaunches the mission of the Salesian Family, as will happen at the last meeting scheduled for 4 April 2024.<\/p>\n

On 9 November<\/strong>, we begin with a “dialogue of many voices”: One year after the FMA 150 Conference. Challenges and prospects.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the end of each meeting, the recording will remain available to allow educators, Educating Communities, and FMA Communities and those interested in the topics to transform current charismatic and educational challenges into formative opportunities.<\/p>\n
