{"id":92612,"date":"2023-07-05T22:24:33","date_gmt":"2023-07-05T20:24:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/infosphere\/dottorato-in-scienze-sociali\/"},"modified":"2023-07-08T22:19:58","modified_gmt":"2023-07-08T20:19:58","slug":"doctorate-in-social-sciences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/ifma-en\/doctorate-in-social-sciences\/","title":{"rendered":"Doctorate in Social Sciences"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Salamanca (Spain). <\/strong>On 27 June 2023, at the Pontifical University of Salamanca, Spain, Sr. Patricia Parraguez N\u00fa\u00f1ez, Daughter of Mary Help of Christians of <em>St. Gabriel Archangel<\/em> Chilean Province (CIL), concluded her studies in the Doctoral Program in <strong>Innovations in Social Sciences with a reference in Education<\/strong>, with the thesis entitled: <em>Pedagogical leadership in Salesian schools in America<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Taking part in the discussion of the thesis were: Sr. Ausilia Chang, Doctor of Educational Sciences, Professor Emerita of the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences \u00abAuxilium\u00bb and co-supervisor of the Doctoral Thesis; Sr. Teresa de Jes\u00fas Rubio Garc\u00eda, Animator of <em>Mother Angela Vespa<\/em> Community of Rome, <em>Mary Mother of the Church <\/em>Preprovince (RMC) and some sisters of the Community; Sr. Auxiliadora Hern\u00e1ndez, Animator of\u00a0 <em>St. John Bosco<\/em> Community of Salamanca, <em>Mary Help of Christians<\/em> Province (SPA); Dr. Amparo Jim\u00e9nez Vivas, who guided Sr. Patricia in completing her Thesis; and other academics close to the Doctoral student.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The thesis <\/strong>explores the reality of scholastic leadership of Salesian Schools in Latin America, identifying the relationships between pedagogical leadership and the Salesian educational proposal.<\/p>\n<p>A mixed study was conducted, in which various hypotheses were confirmed through multivariate statistical techniques, as well as a qualitative phase in which 69 directors of 9 schools located in Mexico (Guadalajara), Peru (Lima), Brazil (Bras\u00edlia, Ribeir\u00e3o Preto, Rio de Janeiro), and Chile (Linares), employees of both the Salesians of Don Bosco and of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians.<\/p>\n<p>Among the main results, we highlight the presence of strong female pedagogical leadership in the continent; and effects of positive predictive variables in Teacher Professional Development and Stimulating Student Learning.
