{"id":81539,"date":"2022-12-05T10:05:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-05T09:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/infosphere\/prevenzione-e-prossimita-bmm\/"},"modified":"2022-12-10T16:01:10","modified_gmt":"2022-12-10T15:01:10","slug":"prevention-and-proximity-bmm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/infosphere\/prevention-and-proximity-bmm\/","title":{"rendered":"Prevention and proximity &#8211; BMM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Maca\u00e9 (Brazil).<\/strong> In the months of October and November 2022, the University Pastoral Team of the Salesian Catholic Faculty of Maca\u00e9, in the State of Rio de Janeiro, <em>Mother Mazzarello<\/em> Province (BMM), together with the students, teachers, and academic staff, organized two campaigns of prevention with the objectives of living proximity in daily life and nurturing fraternity in the university community.<\/p>\n<p>The activity focused on the <strong>&#8220;Pink October&#8221;<\/strong> and <strong>&#8220;Blue November&#8221;<\/strong> global health campaigns, created to remind that prevention and early detection of breast and prostate cancer are essential to avoid the high mortality rate of women and men affected by cancer.<\/p>\n<p>The University Pastoral Team\u00a0 therefore organized two special moments to raise awareness of these issues. On <strong>October 25,<\/strong> the group dressed in pink and prepared a welcome to the rhythm of live music, sung by Prof. Marcello Santos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Campagne-universita-BMM-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-81528 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Campagne-universita-BMM-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"233\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Campagne-universita-BMM-1.jpg 1181w, https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Campagne-universita-BMM-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Campagne-universita-BMM-1-696x464.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Campagne-universita-BMM-1-630x420.jpg 630w\" data-sizes=\"auto\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 350px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 350\/233;\" data-original-sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Female students received a pink ribbon and a phrase about a flower, with words encouraging self-care and disease prevention. <em>&#8220;Since we are talking about prevention, it is necessary to exchange ideas with young people, to encourage the care of one&#8217;s body and health. Don Bosco had this concern and he guides us in our actions.
