Ideas on the contribution of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians to the education of young women&#8221;,<\/strong> which will be explored by <strong>Prof. Piera Ruffinatto<\/strong>, Dean of the Pontifical Faculty of Education &#8220;Auxilium&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In the proposed reflection, the Professor will offer some insights into the binomial education of women &#8211; education of society, highlighting in particular the contribution of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians to the education of young people over the arc of the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/u\/1\/folders\/1Gn3H6Th0P9rkV-2LUibtCIzrRGrVCxdW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>150 years of life of the FMA<\/strong><strong> Institute<\/strong> <\/a><\/span>(1872-2022).<\/p>\n<p>Studying this binomial starting from the history of the FMA Institute presupposes considering its rapid and widespread diffusion in different contexts and cultures, with diversified responses starting from the multiple formative needs of the young people encountered.<\/p>\n<p>Placing the action of the educators within the horizon of the <strong>Christian pedagogical humanism<\/strong> of St. John Bosco and St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello, some aspects will emerge that throughout history have characterized their commitment in favor of the education of the new generations, in constant attention to combine the characteristics of &#8220;good Christians&#8221; and &#8220;honest citizens&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by Don Bosco&#8217;s Preventive System, the FMA avoid a welfare model, favoring an intentionally educational one, which involves acting in favor of the young, so that they can develop their skills, improve their competence, become active and responsible protagonists of their growth and then that of the people entrusted to them.<\/p>\n<p>This is the common thread that runs through the Institute&#8217;s 150 years of life, to deliver today a mission that is expressed with new answers to the questions of the new contexts.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YDPw6NnyXv0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Link to direct streaming<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pfse-auxilium.org\/it\/index.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pfseauxilium.org<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rome (Italy).
