Research data and paths&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the context of the third year in preparation for the 150<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the Foundation of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (1872-2022), with the theme <em>Designing the future with boldness: &#8220;Courage, let us go forward with a big and generous heart&#8221; <\/em>(L47,12), Prof. Maria Teresa Spiga will present some statistical data that document the presence of the FMA Institute along 150 years of history. The data are the result of a research that has drawn on some significant sources, proceeding to their computerization.<\/p>\n<p>The reflection that emerged from the study is in accord with the themes of the recently concluded XXIV General Chapter, a strong time for in-depth study, discussion, and discernment, which challenged the Communities to question themselves on issues relevant to the mission in the contemporary world.<\/p>\n<p>The data on the presence of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, communities opened and works that flourished over time and geographic space, express the vitality of an educational charism which, from the small town of Mornese crossed the world, thanks to the daring and resourcefulness of many sisters who put their lives at the service of young people, thus fulfilling the dream of St. John Bosco and St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;Everything that blooms on the tree comes from what it has underground&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> (Pope Francis &#8211; General Audience, 22 September 2021)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-1JI2r_5cCo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Link to live streaming<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:<\/strong> pfseauxilium.org<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rome (Italy).
