It is a time of choices, because the FMA Institute of many faces and a thousand shades, lives the service to the young and the poorest by revitalizing the commitment to be missionary communities generative of the love of God.<\/p>\n<p>Sr. Marta Riccioli, Provincial of the Argentine Province of <em>St. Francis Xavier<\/em> (ABB) introduces the theme of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Nucleus of <strong>Prophetic Missionary Communities<\/strong>. The invitation to be challenged by the creative and daring power of the Holy Spirit &#8220;sends us out and urges us to be heralds of the Gospel with renewed ardor and with the passion for the Kingdom of our first FMA missionaries.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In deepening the Word, Sr. Marta draws attention to the <strong>Signs of the times<\/strong> that open up <strong>new sprouts of Life <\/strong>to re-signify the Educating Communities as missionary <em>outgoing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be Prophetic Missionary Communities we start from a conviction that becomes life. Our prophecy does not consist so much in predicting the future that does not arrive, but\u00a0 <strong><em>living deeply in the present,<\/em><\/strong> with particular attention to the signs of the times. If we live the present deeply and exercise <strong><em>docility<\/em><\/strong> as a permanent attitude, we will be able to discover the insights that the Holy Spirit arouses in us, to allow ourselves to be surprised by the sprouts of life present in reality. Being faithful to the present, <strong><em>as the prophets of all times have been, means being attentive to the historical moment with all its tensions and contradictions<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For every discernment in our Educating Communities, it is necessary <strong><em>to start from the truth of reality<\/em><\/strong>, because <strong><em>reality always prevails over ideas<\/em><\/strong> (Pope Francisco. Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, n.231-233).<\/p>\n<p>When Mary presents the lack of wine in Cana, <strong><em>she is deeply embodied in reality<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>in the present<\/em><\/strong> of the wedding, and it is precisely this that makes the sign of Jesus and His action in history possible.<\/p>\n<p>It is the deeply incarnated gaze in the present and in reality like that of Mary which is the starting point of all discernment.
