Bratislava (Slovacchia).<\/strong> On 19 September 2021, the Educating Community of\u00a0 Mary Mazzarello Ecclesial Kindergarten Schoo<\/em>l (SME) of Lachova, Bratislava-Petr\u017ealka, managed by the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of\u00a0 St. Francis de Sales<\/em> Community, of St. John Bosco Province<\/em> (SLK), celebrated the 30th<\/sup> \u00a0anniversary of its foundation.<\/p>\n

The Ecclesial Kindergarten School (SMA) was founded in 1991 as a work of the Diocese of Bratislava-Trnava, now the Archdiocese of Bratislava. Since 2003 it has been entrusted to the pedagogical care of the FMA, who give the Kindergarten the educational imprint and family atmosphere of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello, also thanks to the collaboration of the Salesians of Don Bosco of Mary Help of Christians<\/em> Province (SLK) for celebrations and spiritual formation.<\/p>\n

The celebrations of the 30th<\/sup> anniversary took place in the nearby Salesian Youth Center in Mamateyova, Bratislava-Petr\u017ealka, with large spaces and the welcome of the SDB Community.<\/p>\n

The event opened with the Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by Fr. Milan Jan\u00e1k, SDB, Director of \u00a0St. Domenic Savio<\/em> Community, who in his homily underlined the importance of collaboration between school and family, to ensure children have educational convergence. He also said that the children from Kindergarten carry small seeds of good within themselves, which not only grow within them, but through them bear fruit in families. Finally, he invited the children, parents, and everyone present to express a strong \u2018thank you\u2019 for all the good they receive from the Kindergarten school.<\/p>\n

At the end of the celebration, Mrs. Viera Kyselicov\u00e1, Head of the Archdiocesan School Office, took the floor, thanking\u00a0 for the courage in starting a Catholic educational activity immediately after communism. M\u00e1ria Bu\u010dkov\u00e1, pedagogue and Principal for several years of the Kindergarten, recalled the difficult origins due to financial shortages to carry on the work, in which sacrifices were reciprocated for the great trust in God. Memories were not lacking and many\u00a0 talked about the good times they lived at the service of the little ones and the families.<\/p>\n

The day continued with lunch and with the show of the children and alumni, with musical and choreographic performances on the stage in front of the sports field, where the CD with the songs recorded on the anniversary of the School was presented.<\/p>\n

The parents expressed their gratitude to the Principal, the Teachers, and the School Personnel:<\/p>\n

“For a working parent, there is no greater joy than seeing their child go to kindergarten happy, because they feel that the teachers and classmates are a family. In the family we help each other, which is why it was natural for me to make energy, skills, and contacts available to prepare the School Celebration and it was beautiful to see the participation of other parents. A special thanks to Sr. Martina \u0160kvareninov\u00e1, in charge of the organization, who\u00a0 created a lovely and enriching collaboration”.<\/em><\/p>\n

A mother who brought her children to school this year highlighted the family atmosphere that reigns:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Celebration of the 30th<\/sup> anniversary of the Kindergarten was a joyful family event for us. We are new to the School, but we experience acceptance and unity. The strength of the Educating Community of the families is perceived, formed on the journey of these 30 years. During the feast, we felt that we are a family united in God, thanks to all those who collaborated for the success of the event”.<\/em><\/p>\n
