{"id":50125,"date":"2021-08-22T08:42:23","date_gmt":"2021-08-22T06:42:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/infosphere\/giornata-dello-studente-ima-rio-do-sul-bap\/"},"modified":"2021-08-24T09:34:11","modified_gmt":"2021-08-24T07:34:11","slug":"student-day-ima-rio-do-sul-bap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/ifma-en\/student-day-ima-rio-do-sul-bap\/","title":{"rendered":"Student day &#8211; IMA Rio do Sul (BAP)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Rio do Sul (Brazil). <\/strong>\u00a0To celebrate Student Day on 11 August 2021, the Institute of <em>Mary Help of Christians<\/em> (IMA) of Rio do Sul (Santa Catarina), of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of the <em>Province of Our Lady Aparecida <\/em>(BAP) organized a week of events for students from the 6<sup>th<\/sup> year of the Elementary School to the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> year of the Lyceum.<\/p>\n<p>The XXIII Student Olympics opened on 9 August. The students gathered at the Sports Gym to attend the inauguration with the athletes\u2019 oath and the lighting of the Olympic torch. Two friendly matches between the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> year team and IMA employees marked the start of the matches which took place in a joyful atmosphere. For three days, the students challenged each other in competitions of soccer, dance, handball, volleyball, basketball, and ping-pong.<\/p>\n<p>Salesian values were present in the games with moments of fraternity between the teams, the enthusiasm of the fans, and respect for the opposing teams were observed. Numerous medals were awarded.<\/p>\n<p>After the Olympics,\u00a0 Citizenship Week began with a cycle of lessons held by Experts for High School students on the theme: <em>\u201cYouth: Overcoming and Resilience\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sylvia van Enck Meira, Master in Clinical Psychology, presented some studies on the causes and consequences of technological addiction.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Gabriel G\u00f3mez, Psychoanalyst, talked with the students about Empathy.
