Rome (Italy).<\/strong> On 12 June 2021, to celebrate the 100th<\/sup> anniversary of UNION magazine, the Mornese World Confederation of\u00a0 Past Pupils of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians proposes the Webinar on the theme “The value of the associative press”<\/em><\/strong>, which will discuss the associative press as a fundamental tool to create a network among the members of the Association and to communicate its vision and mission externally.<\/p>\n

“100 years after its first publication, the magazine UNION continues to connect thousands of FMA Past Pupils from all over the world linked to the Association and the Salesian charism”, states Dr. Paola Mancini, FMA Past Pupil. Addressing the Past Pupils, she motivates participation in the Webinar: \u201cWe are in an epochal transition, when reality and the values that have formed our being in the world are at stake. Our magazine adapts to the contexts, trying to keep the course given to us 100 years ago, with the same strength, with the same adherence to the charism, with the same love for the FMA.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Webinar will take place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM<\/strong> (Italian time). It will be introduced by the President of the Mornese World Confederation of FMA Past Pupils, Mrs. Maria Maghini, and by the opening greeting of the Mother General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Sister Yvonne Reungoat. This will be followed by a talk by Dr. Paola Mancini, who will commemorate the 100th<\/sup> anniversary of the UNION <\/em>magazine.<\/p>\n

In the Round Table<\/strong>, moderated by Dr. Massimiliano Cavallo, Director of the magazine UNION, will be attended by: Dr. Valerio Martorana, Director of Fraternal Voices; Dr. Marco Lasevoli, Director of The Sign; Dr. Claudio Maria Picco, Chief Editor of New Project; and Dr. Chiara Genisio, National Vice President of the Italian Federation of Catholic Weeklies (FISC).<\/p>\n

The Association of the Past Pupils of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians<\/strong> was founded by Blessed Philip Rinaldi in Turin on 19 March 1908, with the collaboration of Sister Caterina Arrighi. On that date, the first Past Pupils Union of the FMA was also officially constituted and its Regulations were approved. Since 1988, the Association has been part of the Salesian Family as a lay group promoted by the FMA Institute. In 1990, it officially took the name of World Confederation of the Past Pupils of the Daughters of Mary Help<\/strong><\/a> of Christians<\/strong>. <\/strong>Belonging to the Association means: knowing, assimilating, and living Salesian values in the style of Mornese.
