Rep. Congo).<\/strong> On 15 and 16 January 2021, in Lubumbashi, in the hall of the Lyceum Tuendelee of St. Joseph Community of the Province of <em>Our Lady of Africa<\/em> of Central Africa (AFC), a formation meeting was held, organized by the Provincial Commissions of Social Communication and Youth Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>During the seminar addressed to the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, to young people in formation, and to other young people, issues related to Communication were explored: the drafting of a report and an article, the study of the Power Point and Publisher programs for the of multimedia presentations and flyers, the anthropological foundations of communication.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Alexis Mutshail, Salesian Cooperator, and Sr. L\u00e9ontine Sonyi, FMA, Provincial Communication Coordinator, took care of the first part. Mr. Alexis started from the definition of the report and the decisive role of the secretary, who has the task of understanding and transcribing all the information accurately, without neglecting the important details, summarizing the essential issues, and giving the report a\u00a0 clear editing.<\/p>\n<p>The speaker also specified the difference between a report that analyzes a situation, determines its causes, and evaluates its consequences, and a report that has the character of testimony. As for the issue of journalistic writing, we referred to the \u201cLaw of the Five W\u2019s\u201d &#8211; answering the questions: who, what, where, when, and why &#8211; a traditional and immediate procedure that can guide the writing of an article.<\/p>\n<p>After an initial theoretical approach, the participants moved on to the practical part. Sr. Marie Rapha\u00ebl Kalenga and Sr. Michael Mwika, FMA, took care of the in-depth study of the PowerPoint application, which allows the creation of multimedia presentations, and Publisher, an editing application that allows you to create flyers, calendars, invitations, cards, etc.<\/p>\n<p>At the conclusion of the formation meeting, Sr. Jos\u00e9phine Bela, FMA spoke of the anthropological vision of the educational mission of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. Sister Jos\u00e9phine highlighted the value of life, as a gift received freely from God and of the mission, which is the task of every baptized person. For the FMA, the mission is to follow Christ the Good Shepherd, serving the most needy young people.<\/p>\n<p>The two days of formation were an opportunity for the participants to increase the quality level of production in the communication field and to study issues from an educational point of view, accepting the challenge launched by Pope Francis in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/infosphere\/message-for-the-55th-world-communications-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Message for the LV World Day of Social Communications\u00a0\u00a0 <\/a>\u00a0to <em>&#8220;communicate the fascination of the Christian adventure by meeting people where and how they are<\/em>&#8221;
