On 21 September 2020, at Cesar\u00f2 (ME), there took place the event: <strong>CuriAMO il Creato.\u00a0<\/strong>The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of Mother Maddalena Morano Province (SI), after a few weeks of education on respect for our Common Home, networking with the institutions and various associations of the area, organized an event to raise awareness about &#8220;<em>ecological conversion<\/em>&#8220;, on the fifth anniversary of Pope Francis\u2019 <em>Social Encyclical Laudato S\u00ec<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon, in compliance with the current safety regulations regarding Covid-19, about 25 people gathered at the <em>Villa Aldo Moro<\/em> who, during the <em>Time of Creation<\/em>, praised the Creator for the wonders He has given into the hands of humanity.<\/p>\n<p>In contact with nature, they used this time to listen to the cry of the earth, which invokes help, accepting the invitation of Pope Francis <em>&#8220;There is a mystery to be contemplated in a leaf, in a path, in the dew, in the face of a poor person&#8221; <\/em>(LS 233).<\/p>\n<p>Through the reading of the passage from Leviticus (25: 1-17), the sabbatical year and the <em>jubilee year<\/em> of the Earth were emphasized. Father Vasta, parish priest of Cesar\u00f2, in his talk highlighted that the human being has given a name to everything, to every living being on earth, a sign of dominion over all creation. However, this dominion must be managed with responsibility and respect for everyone and for everything.<\/p>\n<p>An olive tree was then planted, a symbol of renewal, of social commitment, of the struggle to defend our common home. Sign of life that challenges death. A sign of hope and of the future. A sign that together we can cleanse, adorn, make the face of Mother Earth, of <em>our common Home<\/em>, beautiful and livable.<\/p>\n<p>A bookmark was given in memory of the event, inviting participants to collaborate for the protection of <em>Mother Earth<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-31363 alignright lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/1-creato-isi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"434\" height=\"289\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/1-creato-isi.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/1-creato-isi-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/1-creato-isi-696x464.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/1-creato-isi-630x420.jpg 630w\" data-sizes=\"auto\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 434px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 434\/289;\" data-original-sizes=\"(max-width: 434px) 100vw, 434px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The participants included the parish priest, the Mayor, the forest Inspector, the Commander of the city traffic police, the President of the FMA Past Pupils, a representative of the animators of the OCG of the FMA, young people, children, mothers, catechists, the FMA community, the provincial secretary, the educator of the PGS.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting ended with thanks to those who worked to organize the event, to young people, and to the participants with the commitment to spread the culture of \u2018integral\u2019 ecology, as Pope Francis exhorts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cesar\u00f2 (Messina).
