{"id":24753,"date":"2020-04-29T09:30:34","date_gmt":"2020-04-29T07:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/infosphere\/dottore-in-teologia-dogmatica\/"},"modified":"2020-04-30T10:38:19","modified_gmt":"2020-04-30T08:38:19","slug":"doctor-in-dogmatic-theology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/ifma-en\/salesian-charism\/doctor-in-dogmatic-theology\/","title":{"rendered":"Doctor in Dogmatic Theology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Rome (<\/strong><strong>Italy<\/strong><strong>).<\/strong> Sr. Adriana Silva, Daughter of Mary Help of Christians of <em>Immaculate Conception Province of Uruguay<\/em> (URU), on 29 April 2020 completed her research \u00a0at the Theology Faculty of the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome discussing online, due to the Covid pandemic -19, the PhD thesis in Dogmatic Theology entitled: <em>Pneumatological Mariology of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. Theological reading of the Circular Letters of the General Superiors and of the Acts of the General Chapters. Fifty years of the journey 1958-2008<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Within Dogmatic Theology, the thesis is part of the history of Mariology as it highlights the development in understanding of the identity and role of Mary in the economy of salvation, in a specific historical period within the \u2018charismatic tradition\u2019 of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA). At the same time, it is placed in the strictly Mariological context, as it compares the most salient elements of the &#8216;charismatic tradition&#8217; on the identity and role of Mary, with the Mariological categories already assumed by the Church, making emerge their contribution to the intelligence of the faith.<\/p>\n<p>The study and research presented are aimed at deepening the theological depth and the Mariological and pneumatological profundity of the sources &#8211; the Circular Letters of the General Superiors of the FMA Institute, from 1958 to 2008; the Acts of the General Chapters, from the XIV to the XXII, with the respective Working Documents, the Reports on the progress of the FMA Institute &#8211; which correspond to the official teaching and orientation that the FMA Institute has received in this period of time .<\/p>\n<p>The thesis shows how the Marian teaching offered by the FMA Institute to its members is pneumatological Mariology. The Mothers General carried out and promoted a pneumatological reformulation of the charismatic <em>Sensus fidei<\/em> on Mary&#8217;s identity and mission, taking on the coordinates of Vatican Council II, incorporating a historic-salvific discourse, and presenting Mary with functions that theologically correspond to the Holy Spirit, such as the maternal, unitive, educational functions, and of helper, inspirer, and guide.<\/p>\n<p>This pneumatological reformulation over time is collected and confirmed in the renewed Constitutions of the FMA, passing for example from the statement that the foundation of the Congregation and its Rule were directly inspired by Mary to Don Bosco, to the statement that the Spirit inspired the foundation and the Rule of the Institute, by &#8216;means&#8217;
